- Terms and conditions of our contract. No extension of time to redeem or waiver or modification of any terms of this contract shall be valid unless in writing, signed by us.
- Charges: Interest is charged at the rate allowed by law and computed on a monthly basis. No fractional part of a month shall be deemed a full month.
- Storage: A storage charge may be added to cover the safekeeping of pledges as permitted by applicable regulations.
- Default: If the loan is not paid or renewed by the maturity date, the pledge will be subject to default procedures and potential sale in accordance with state laws.
- Identification: The pledgor must present valid, government-issued photo identification at the time of the loan transaction.
- Ticket Requirement: The original pawn ticket must be presented when redeeming or renewing a loan. If the ticket is lost, immediate written notice must be given to the office.
- Redemption by Agent: Pledges may be redeemed by an authorized agent only if they present the proper pawn ticket and valid identification.
- Lost Tickets: A fee may be assessed for the issuance of a duplicate pawn ticket in the event of a lost original ticket, subject to verification of ownership.
- Surplus Funds: Any surplus funds remaining from the public sale of an unredeemed pledge, after satisfying all principal, interest, and expenses, will be handled according to statutory guidelines.
- Maximum Loan Limits: The pawn broker reserves the right to establish minimum and maximum loan amounts based on the appraised value of the collateral.
- Compliance: All loan transactions are governed by local and state laws regulating pawn brokers.
- Cash Only: Cash only accepted as payment for redemption of pledges. No checks, money orders, or credit cards.
- Inspection: Pledges may not be examined prior to redemption.
- Liability: Not accountable for loss of goods by fire or theft.
- Hours & Operation: Transactions, redemptions, and inquiries must be conducted during official business hours.
- Finality: All loan agreements and terms finalized at the counter are binding upon issuance of the pawn ticket.
